Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone!! Isn't Christmas great?! I had so much fun this year. We got to celebrate a day early this year. Santa said he'd visit us a day early so Joe could be with us since he works on Christmas day. It was awesome. I didn't think that Santa actually came to our house though because I never heard his bells ring in the night. But, you know what he did come, I must've just slept through them.

On Christmas Eve, Mommy and Joe said I could open one present and my Christmas Jammies. I love my jammies. I don't ever want to take them off. In fact, I haven't taken them off except to go to my Abuelos for a fancy night with my Daddy and Martha.

See how cute they are?!

My arrangements for Christmas is that I usually get to spend Christmas Eve with my Daddy and his family and then he takes me home early Christmas morning to be with my mommy. But this year since at mommy's house we celebrated a day early I was able to wake up Christmas morning at Daddy's and stay there and play for a while. It was crazy cuz I woke up to go potty and walked pass the living room and there was all these presents...I had no clue Santa had already came. It was awesome!! I got everything that I asked for and plenty more. I love Christmas. I'm gonna have so much fun playing with everything!
When does Santa come again? Tomorrow?

I've got a knack for decorating

Mommy and I put out all the decorations for Christmas and did the tree all by our selves...well Joe did have to help us because some of the lights didn't work and we didn't know how to fix it, but he did.

I had the most fun pulling out everything from the containers and looking at it and remembering where it went last year. Mommy said this year we could pick out somewhere else to put it.

Here's how we did.

Our pictures didn't turn out very clear, but too bad.

Thanksgiving Weekend

This year I was lucky enough to spend Thanksgiving with my Daddy and his family. We ate dinner at Tio Carlos'. I had a ton of fun playing with my cousins and friends. I love spending time with them. My daddy dropped me off after all that excitement so that I could go to Sherwood Hills with Mommy and her family on Friday. We always go up there the Friday after Thanksgiving for a fun day at breakfast, bowling, sometimes we go to a movie or shopping. Then we always head back to the Hotel to swim and have dinner and play games.
This year we had family pictures when we got back to the hotel and then it was off to the swimming pool. I had a blast splashing around and swimming in the kiddie pool, I even went in the big pool for a minute with Kimi and Jared, but decided the small pool is better for me.
We had a very fun and exciting Thanksgiving Weekend.

Some things I'm thankful for:
My family
Mommy
Myself
TV & Movies
Toys
Baby Brother
Food
Jesus

What's in a name?

A few weeks ago Mommy was explaining to me that Joe's parents were going to come and visit us. She was trying to help me learn their names. Papa Joe and Gramma Cheryl. Gramma Cheryl would be easy to remember because that's Noah's (my boyfriend from PreSchool) gramma's name. Mom said Papa Joe should be easy to because his full name is Joseph Alan Winkler, same name as Joe's and Zaden's is Zaden Joseph-Alan Winkler. Huh, they all have the same name! I started feeling a little left out. So I explained to mom that I wanted my name to be the same as theirs. Ivy Joseph Alan Winkler Marie Monroy, sounds good don't you think? So that is my new name. Mom and Joe kinda laughed but I was completely serious. I think they've realized that I was serious because I correct them everytime they say my name. It's not Ivy Marie, it's Ivy Joseph Alan Winkler Marie Monroy. Mom said that's how I'll know when I'm in big trouble, when she spits out that full name I'm in for it.

Time flies when you're having fun

Wow! We have been so busy in our house, not really doing anything, but keeping busy none the less. I've been learning how to help mom out so much. I've started vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning toilets, and picking up everything from dirty diapers to stacks of newspapers. I've even learned how to do laundry. Mom says if she teaches me young, then I'll hopefully have it mastered much sooner then she can be lazy and just watch me do everything. Right now I think it's great, but maybe someday I'll get tired of being the "slave". But it makes me feel good to help mommy out so much. Plus she usually gets me a treat on the days that I'm such a big helper. The other day Joe got me hotdogs and bananas for helping out so good, I got a pink skirt one day, a sucker and stickers once, and I get lots of hugs and kisses and praise, so it's worth it.
Baby Zaden is growing so much. It's kinda hard for me to hold him now, he wiggles his head so much that mommy gets nervous when I am holding him. He's a little boring to play with right now. He doesn't know how to talk so he won't sing with me. I try to give him toys but he doesn't know how to even hold them very well. Hopefully soon he'll learn some tricks and be more fun to help take care of.
I've been getting better mommy says. I don't really understand what she's talking about, but all I do know is that I am getting in trouble less. But every now and then I do throw a fit and that gets me sent straight to my room. I hate it! Mom threatend to lock me in my room til I could act like a big girl the other day...I quickly reminded her that no she couldn't lock me in there cuz Joe took my door off to paint it. That made her smile at least.
Well, I'm having fun with mom and Zaden. We do a lot of Christmas shopping. Mom always has to remind me before entering the stores though that we are not shopping for me, she can only shop for me when I'm not with her so it'll be a surprise. I do really well. I never ask for anything, but I do enjoy pointing out some things that would be fun to add to my wish list. It's a good thing mom has me to help her pick out things. She's so indecisive, but I always help her choose the right things. I'm pretty good at that.

Here's some things on my wish list for Santa:
Pink Guitar
Pink Scooter
Pink Motorcycle
Pink Tractor
Multiplication cards
Books
Hannah Montana doll, bag, guitar, notebook, jewelry box...anything with Hannah Montana
red purse
High School Musical Bag

Being a sister is great

I've decided that I can handle this "big sister" thing. It's like Christmas everyday for me. When baby brother Zaden was born he got me a basket with lots of fun things to keep me busy while mommy and Joe are busy taking care of him. I honestly couldn't figure out how it came out of mommy's tummy with him, so Joe explained to me that baby brother Zaden talked to him through mommy's belly one night and told him the things to go get me. He knows me pretty well. He got me princess art books, stickers, and markers, bath time crayons, a cute pink outfit and bow, and some princess dolls, he also made a request that Cindee make me a blanket like his because I'd taken claim of the one she made him and he'd like it when he was born so she made me a pretty pink polka dot blankie and mommy made me one with farm animals. It was such a fun time. Then Aunt Natalie got me yummy teddy graham crackers, a notebook, and smelly markers. I'm having fun with those, I love the notebook because I like to write letters and do "homework". Then when Aunt Tonya brought some dinner for our family she had a present for me and baby Zaden. I got the coolest Snow White doll (and she'd already given me a book that I love to read every day) with clothes and shoes to change, baby brother Zaden got a soft blankie. Gramma has spent lots of time with me and we had so much fun the other day when she took me to the mall to play on the playground and ride some rides. She's the best.
Baby Zaden's gramma Cheryl and papa Joe are visiting us. They brought me so many toys...a doggy, a snow globe ball (it's actually a bouncy ball thingy) and some lip gloss. They got me pegged pretty well, I love them. Aunt Angela gave me a Curious George doll that does somersaults, he's pretty fun.
All in all...I'm gonna miss this when the newness of baby Zaden wears off. Oh-well I guess, by then it'll be Christmas time.

Happily ever after....

I have a new favorite movie. Mommy convinced me to watch a movie other than Alvin and the Chipmunks today. She said 13 Going on 30 was a good show. I really didn't want to watch it, but I'm soooo glad that I did. I love that movie. I laughed, I cried, I got so excited. There were parts that were so funny, mommy and I both laughed (baby Zaden didn't, don't know what's wrong with him). I love the parts where Jenna Rink sees her old friend Matty, I knew they loved each other. I get so excited every time I saw them together my hands would clasp right next to my heart and my legs would curl up to my chest with the anticipation of them kissing. Ohhh, it's so fun. But then when he chose to marry that other girl, I couldn't help but cry. He loves Jenna!! and Jenna loves him! The pink house at the end topped of this fairytale movie for me. Mommy said someday it'll happen for me, but for some reason she hopes I change my mind about the pink house.

I am the best "stister"

Baby Zaden came to my home yesterday and is part of my family. I like to give him kisses and hugs. He's a pretty good baby, except he likes to poop a lot. I told mom I'm not going to change his poopy diapers. I've learned though from watching mom change him what makes a boy a boy and a girl a girl. I'm not quite sure what to think about it all.
I've enjoyed helping take care of my mom. I have to help her with all sorts of things. I pick up things for her and help her watch my brother. Today I even had to help her pull up her pants. She said that it's paybacks for all the times that she has to help me pull up my pants. I just laugh, isn't she the mommy?

I'm so excited and the day can't go fast enough. It's Wednesday, one of my favorite days, I get to go to sleep over at my dad's house tonight. I've been waiting all day for him to come. We have a lot of fun at his house. I like going there and playing with my big brother Alan. We always have so much fun. He teaches me lots of funny things to say.

I've been speaking a lot more Spanish lately. My abuela came to visit last week and since she was here I like to confuse Mommy and Joe and speak to them in Spanish. My favorite sayings are "No Manches" and "No sabe". Joe asked me what they mean in English, I don't know what he's talking about. Mom says sometimes it's hard to translate for me and that it's ok for me to not understand that right now.

Well, I just have to say that I LOVE my baby brother. Now I'm gonna go outside and drive my pink car around til my Daddy comes. Bye bye.

Hello!

Hi. My mommy decided to have me start a blog. Now my family in Mexico can keep up on the adventures of my life. I don't have time right now because my daddy is coming to get me, but I'll be back soon and write my story.
Stay tuned....
